CHANGE OF VENUE FOR 4th AFRICA LIBRARY SUMMIT & 2nd AfLIA CONFERENCE
As a result of the recent events in Ethiopia culminating in the government declaring a state of emergency for 6 months; the restriction of free movement and gatherings; the reduction in access to the internet which is very important for our conference; enquiries from several likely participants about their safety as a result of these happenings, the Governing Council of AfLIA at its 3rd meeting held on 24th November 2016 in Pretoria , South Africa, decided that the 4th Africa Library Summit & 2nd AfLIA Conference be moved from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to the second bidder for the conference Yaounde, Cameroon.
We regret any inconveniences this decision may cause but we believe that it is for the ultimate good of the public.
Details of Venue and Accommodation, in Yaounde, Cameroon, and Visas, etc will be communicated through the AfLIA website, www.aflia.net when registration for the conference opens on 1st January 2017 so kindly visit the site.
You may also communicate with us about the Conference through email@example.com
